Lawrence Kansas Health and Wellness Center

This project is designed to sit on a vacant lot on 11th St and Massachusetts St in Downtown Lawrence, KS. The design includes a variety of health oriented facilities including a gym, an aerobics studio, a pool and saunas, a doctor’s office, massage studios, and a café. Central to the design is a green space courtyard wherein people can exercise or relax among nature. The main façade faces Massachusetts Street and stops as it pushes further east to appear more like the concrete and masonry structures adjacent to it.
